Ravenclaw Pride
What can we learn from the house of Ravenclaw
A very Happy Ravenclaw Pride Day to all my witty Ravenclaws!
Personally, I have always felt that because Gryffindor is the main house of the story and its rival is Slytherin, they get the most storytime in the books and this always left Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw quite often overshadowed.
Yes, we meet quite a few Ravenclaws throughout the books but I can’t say their presence in the storyline is as heavy as Gryffindor and Slytherin. So today, I am going to share some of my favorite Ravenclaws and what we can learn from them.
She always knows how to be there for her friends, to support them, and say exactly what needs to be said. We all need a Luna in our life.
He didn’t mind his students playing few games in class. And my forever favorite moment of Professor Flitwick would be when Fred & George Weasley put a swap in the school’s corridor and rather than removing it all, Professor Flitwick left a small puddle because it was a “really good bit of magic.” But don’t ever underestimate him because he is one of the best duelists and fought deatheaters during the Battle of Hogwarts.
and the scene comes on where Umbridge is basically kicking Trelawney out of her home, Hogwarts, it just infuriates me. Plus she is the one who gave the prophecy about Harry Potter and Lord Voldemort, we all know how that played out. She also made the “13 at the dinner table” prediction and honestly I too would be frustrated if I was constantly seeing lightning struck tower and Professor Dumbledore didn’t listen to me.
Professor Trelawney sometimes reminds me of Luna, as to how most of the time they are both saying the right things but people don’t believe it because they don’t fit into their “norms.”
All in all, what I love most about our witty Ravenclaws is that they aren’t afraid to push the boundaries, they aren’t afraid to question things, they believe in things that others might not believe in and they aren’t afraid to show their true selves.
